Important FCC Part 97 Power and Mode Rules

Rule	Detail
§97.313	Maximum power: 1,500W PEP output on most amateur bands. 200W PEP on 30m. 100W ERP on 60m. Use minimum power necessary.
§97.119	Station identification: transmit callsign at end of communication and at least every 10 minutes. English language or CW required.
§97.101	Prohibited content: music, obscene language, broadcasting to the general public, transmitting for hire.
§97.303	Frequency sharing: amateurs are secondary on some bands and must not cause interference to primary services.
§97.215	Telecommand: amateur stations may control model craft on all authorized frequencies.
